The following terms and conditions apply to all that visit or shop at this web site. Please review the material carefully particularly the shipping, return and warranty information. Our objective is to serve you well.

Ordering Tips:

All orders are processed the day they are received. Please use caution when ordering custom products. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any required measurements. Custom products can only be cancelled or modified within 24 hours from when the order is placed. There are NO returns on custom product. Mid-America Shutters are offered in 16 colors plus Paintable. Color samples on the web site are accurate but they are pictures of colors. If you would like to see an actual shutter color chip sample prior to ordering we will send you up to three shutter color chip samples via mail. Color chip sample are only available for shutters. When ordering other products such as Mounting Blocks, Gable Vents, or Exterior Accents the available colors are listed on the individual product pages. Most Mounting Blocks and Vents are available in hundreds of colors to match colors from most exterior siding manufactures. Please use the siding manufacturer cross reference sheets to match your exterior siding to a Mid-America color number. The cross reference will match a manufacturer’s color name with a Mid-America color number. The Mid-America color number may not be an exact match in all cases and could vary slightly from the siding color. Although most Mounting Blocks are packaged 5 or10 pieces per box by the manufacturer we will sell you individual pieces so that you only need to buy what your job requires.

NOTE: We automatically send an email confirmation when you submit your order. If you do not receive the confirmation please contact us and we will arrange to send a copy of your order or you may be able to log in to your account on our website to reprint or check the status of your order. It is your responsibility to check the order confirmation to ensure your order is correct.

Shipping and Production:

We typically have 10,000 pairs of Standard Shutters in our inventory along with thousands of Mounting Blocks and Vents. We also manufacture Mid-America Custom Shutters. This enables us to ship Mid-America Siding Component products faster than other companies that simply take your order and process it through the manufacturer. Standard stock items will ship within 1 to 3 days. Custom Shutter orders typically ship in 3 to 5 days. Standard ground shipping is FREE on all orders shipped within the contiguous 48 United States. Standard ground shipping consists of orders that are shipped via UPS or FedEx ground service. Most orders are shipped standard ground and should arrive within 3-5 days after shipping. Large orders may be shipped by Truck. If your order needs to be shipped via commercial common carrier we will notify you through email. Mid-America Window Headers in excess of 95” that cannot be shipped standard ground may incur freight charges. In the event that expedited shipping is needed, such as next day or second day delivery, please contact us and we will give you a quote on the additional charges for the service. When your order ships we will send an email with package tracking information.

Handling Charges:

A small order fee of $15.00 is applied to all orders under $150.00

Shortages, Shipping Damage, and Initially Defective Product

Any claims for short shipments, freight damage, or initially defective product must be made within 48 hours of receipt and before product is altered in any manner or installation is attempted. We will assist you with claims regarding shortages, shipping damage, or defective product. Simply call (908) 806-3400 or email sales@midlanticshutter.com. Any product that appears to be either defective or incorrectly manufactured will be inspected by Midlantic at our facility to verify the validity of the claim before any repair or replacement will be issued. This policy does not imply automatic replacement or repair. Any shipping damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to the shipping company immediately. Accept the package(s) even if they have visible damage. Please save all of the packaging material so it can be inspected by the carrier if necessary. Midlantic will repair or replace damaged product at our discretion. Digital pictures are very helpful in settling damage claims with our carriers. If possible email a digital picture of the damage to sales@midlanticshutter.com. It is the Customers responsiblity to check the product when it is delivered to make sure there are no discrepancies, damage or shortages. A written return authorization number (RGA) must be obtained from Midlantic prior to returning any product. Items returned without a RGA number will not be accepted by us and will be returned to you freight collect.

Product Warranties:

Mid-America Siding Components are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Mid-America Siding Components including shutters, gable vents and mounting blocks all have 40 year warranty protection against fading, cracking, warping or other product defects.
Mid-America prefers to handle all warranty claims directly. If you have a Mid-America warranty claim please call 800-521-8486.

Policy Changes:

Midlantic Shutter and Millwork reserves the right to make changes to our terms and conditions at our discretion.
